Emily's POV. The cool morning breeze whispered through the open window, carrying with it the scent of pine and freshly turned earth. I stretched languidly, my muscles pleasantly sore from the previous night's activities. I sat up slowly, careful not to disturb the triplets who were still sleeping soundly around me. Leo's arm was draped protectively over my waist, while Logan and Luca were tangled together at the foot of the bed. The sight of them, so peaceful in sleep, made my heart ache with love and fierce protectiveness. A soft knock at the door broke through the quiet morning. I carefully extricated myself from Leo's embrace and padded over to answer it, throwing on a robe as I went. Mom stood on the other side, her face a mix of exhaustion and excitement. "Emily," she said. "They've found them. The real Alpha King and Luna Queen. They're bringing them back now." My heart leaped into my throat. "Are they okay? Where were they?" Mom shook her head. "I don't know all the details yet.
