Amanda returned to the country and stayed for a full week.
On the fourth day, Miss Bell, who had initiated the auction that evening, was suddenly reported, and there was even a large amount of evidence that she had harmed minors. That evening, she was taken to the police station for questioning.
As expected, she will probably spend the rest of her life in prison.
When Amanda emerged from the detention cell, her assistant dared not look at her horribly injured arms.
“Lawyer Young, I’ve confirmed that it was indeed Candice who had Miss Bell arrested. Do you need me to call a car to take you to the hospital?”
Amanda’s body swayed slightly as she endured the pain and itching from the insect bites.
“No, book me the earliest flight to Italy.”
Though weak, her eyes flashed with determination: “Oh, and prepare some thorn branches and sandpaper for manual polishing.”
