Max's POV
"We need a plan; this can't go on. If his pack want him back, we have to assume they will do what they can to get him out of here. We can't let that happen." Leo told me as soon as we were away from prying ears. I handed our son to an omega and ordered her to keep him in his bedroom with the door locked and make sure nobody came near him without my say-so.
Once she had gone, I swallowed hard and turned to my brother. "They will be weaker without their alpha. We won't be handing him over, and they won't be attacking. They stand zero chance against us." I scoffed, shaking my head and pouring a glass of water. My throat had dried up, so I quickly downed the drink and slammed the glass back down on the table. Leo oversaw me. He stroked his chin and let his eyes wander to the window.
"Then we go and talk to them and make some demands of our own." He suggested. My ears pricked up at his words.
"And what demands would that be?"
