Carter's speech at the hospital had had an effect on Selene and Harper. They didn't seek him out again, and Carter had no interest in checking on them. He was more concerned about his wedding with Nancy. He poured his heart out into this once-in-a-lifetime event. He'd hired all the famous fashion designers of Falance to tailor their wedding outfits.
