Renee did not linger there. She quickly went home. Jovan was right. Stefan was waiting for a long time in the living room, as if he knew what she had gone through the night before. "What…are you doing here alone in my house?" Renee looked at Stefan. For an unknown reason, she was guilty, as if she were caught doing something bad. Since it was a weekday, the two children had gone to school. Quinton was busy with his shop while Joanne was preparing the documents for college admission. Thus, Renee was left in the large house with Stefan. Renee could not figure out why Stefan would be there at that time. Presumably, he knew something and had purposely come to find fault with her. "I was waiting for you!" Stefan was straightforward and did not regard himself as an outsider. He was even holding Renee's coffee cup and drinking Renee's ground coffee. "This is my house. Who let you in?" Renee grew furious at him for acting like he owned the house. She walked over and snatched her cup.
