Chapter 1711: Breaking the Seal
After Angus stopped his attack, the seal's counterattack also ceased, and the runes on the stone door dimmed once more.
This situation left Leo and the vampires a bit surprised; they hadn't expected the seal on the stone door to be this strong.
Prince Devon, unwilling to accept this, stepped forward and said, "Master, if the seal is this strong, it means whatever's inside must be incredibly valuable. Please, let me try."
Leo nodded, "Be careful."
Prince Devon cautiously approached the stone door, muttering some incantations under his breath before suddenly slamming his hands against it.
With a thunderous boom, the stone door began to tremble violently again.
Just like before, the seal on the stone door lit up, and a wave of pale golden light surged out, instantly engulfing Devon.
With a scream, Devon turned into a cloud of black mist and fled from the range of the pale golden light.
At this point, Devon was covered in white smoke, his cloak singed and looking quite disheveled.
