His aura dominantly took over the cramped room. Even several elders, including Mr. Darius, immediately bowed their heads. They lacked the courage to confront Alpha Alastair with direct eye contact.
“If you choose me, then I will make sure you’re protected by a great power. I can protect you from the lord of darkness,” Alpha Alastair said, raising his hand to caress my cheek.
“Don’t touch me!” I slapped his hand away from my face. “Were you conspiring with Mr. Darius?” I asked suspiciously.
“Don’t mess with me, Alexa. I’d have liked some respect from you. I would forgive your accusation and rejection if you admitted your mistake.” He growled, stepping closer toward me.
His tall figure towered over me in the oppressive darkness. Something about Alpha Alastair had turned colder. Even his gaze had grown sharper, with an overwhelming and chilling aura.
‘Be careful, Alexa. I felt a different aura from him. He’s stronger than he was a week ago,’ Mythril warned, heightening my awareness
