Chapter 6759

"Grand City?" Harvey caught a crucial keyword from Yvonne's explanation. "Let's stop everything else. Tell me more about Grand City. Why haven't I heard anything about a city like this in this world?" Then Yvonne replied sternly, "Normally speaking, as the representative of Country H's Martial Arts Alliance, you must have known about Grand City. It is not a city that belongs to our world. It was said to belong only to martial artists. "It was said that not only was the city very prosperous and a place where martial arts flourished, but it was also said that there was a portal that led to another world in that city. It was also said that only one could comprehend the pinnacle of martial arts, uniting Man and Nature…" Harvey slightly frowned. "Uniting Man and Nature? That way, doesn't that make Grand City the holy land of all Martial Artists? Aren't they going to fight tooth and nail with everyone so that they could stay in a place like this?" Yvonne nodded. "That's right. Those who manage Grand City are the so-called Seven Families of Grand City. They are among the top seven most powerful Sacred Training Grounds, including Parkerville. Other than the seven, those from the upper echelon of the Martial Arts Alliance, including the representative, have the right to stay here. "And the representative of Country H Martial Arts Alliance is the owner of Grand City, at least in name," Yvonne said as she looked at Harvey. "Logically speaking, not only do you have the right to live in Grand City, but you should have full authority inside. However, Grand City already has its own circle, and they resist you as you're a representative who's not of their choosing and appears outside of their plans." Harvey gave it a thought and said, "That means Dan is the one who's supposed to become the leader of Grand City out of the members of the seven families, right? And to them, the position I have right now is supposed to belong to Dan?" "At least according to the information we gathered," Yvonne said with slight difficulty. "I see…" Harvey said as he put down his cup. "Grand City? Uniting Man and Nature? If that's the case, it's a place I should go. Have George put some more effort into finding more information on Grand City. Also, keep an eye on Dan. I refuse to believe he's alright with me being the representative." Harvey sighed. "I can't stop even if I want to." - The next day, after Harvey had digested the information regarding Grand City, a red car discreetly drove into Pinnacle National Park. The car moved around the Park between the classical buildings and finally stopped in front of a temple with the "No Access" sign. The door opened, and Dan, wearing a white suit and gold-framed spectacles, slowly exited the car with a cold expression. "Lanny, wait for me in the car. If you meet that woman, you won't be happy," Dan said to the woman inside the car with an hourglass figure wearing traditional purple garb. The woman called Lanny gave a beaming smile and handed him a lacquer box. "I almost forgot this gift. You are the best," Dan gave the woman a gentle smile. "I'm sorry to treat you like this, but this is for the greater good."
