Gloria was in a splendid mood, eager to hurry home. Their plane landed two hours later. Samantha, Rue, Adaline, and Gracia were waiting outside the airport. Samantha was carrying the five-month-old Nova in her arms, who was crying and whining. She found out that Adrian was returning when she saw the Novemton News. Hence, they had come to the airport early this morning. When Adrian and Gloria stepped out of the airport, Samantha waved and called out, "Adrian, Gloria! Over here!" The couple quickly walked over when they saw Samantha and the others. The two women beamed as they embraced one another. "It’s so good to see you again, Sam." Gloria did not know whether she would have a future when she left, but everything was different now. Bursting into tears of joy, Samantha smoothed the flyaway hairs around Gloria's face and smiled. "You make it sound like we've been separated for a really long time. Are you feeling better now?" Gloria nodded happily. "I'm fully cured. I'm just like you now. I don't have to worry any longer." "That's wonderful! We can go shopping together from now on." Samantha smiled Rue and Adaline approached. When Gloria saw Adaline, she said, "You must be Ada. Nice to meet you. I bought you some clothes on my way back." When she handed over the clothes, Adaline happily received them. "Thanks, Gloria!" "Are you really feeling better now, Gloria?" Rue asked. "I'm cured, Mother. Two of the miracle doctor's apprentices treated me, so I'm now perfectly healthy." "That's good to hear. I'm so glad to see that you're well now." Gloria smiled and looked toward Gracia, who was standing next to the car. She excitedly ran to her little sister's side. Gracia, too, was so happy that her vision was obstructed by her tears. "What's the matter? Have you already forgotten me?" Gracia cried as she said as she fell into her elder sister’s arms. "I'm all better now, Cici. I can now stay by your side, watch you get married, and we will grow old together." Gracia bawled her eyes out, as everyone felt happy for the two siblings. Meanwhile, Adrian took Nova into his arms. "Come here. Let me hold you, my little cutie!" Nova smiled as Adrian picked her up, her eyes which were as large as her mother's looked at him curiously. "She just learned how to smile. It's so fun to watch," Samantha said as she gazed at Nova lovingly.
