Chapter 1174

A few more people were now out of contact… "F*ck! F*ck! F*ck!!!" Wolfclaw was enraged and confused about what was happening. Adrian was right before his eyes, and he had no intention of letting go of this big chance to assassinate him. Wolfclaw ignored everything and continued to order his men to strike. The more gunshots were fired, the more men were taken down, and the slower Adrian walked. In just half an hour, Wolfclaw lost contact with the majority of the men he had brought. "Can anyone tell me what the f*ck is happening? Is Draco dead?" He paced angrily as only a handful of people were still responding to him. He yelled, "You'd better not fail me, Thunderclap! Kill him!" Bang! Bang! Bang!!! Adrian still remained unscathed despite the continuous rain of gunshots, while Thunderclap and the others ceased contact. Wolfclaw was stunned. He thought he had come up with the perfect plan—the perfect cover. He thought Adrian was as good as dead the moment he ordered a rain of fire on him. Yet, he had lost contact with every single one of his men. He had no idea he had fallen for Adrian's counter trap. The Rondoniers were too arrogant and proud of their abilities to comprehend such a retaliation. Wolfclaw picked up his rifle, preparing to finish the job himself. By the time he held his gun to the window and aimed toward the streets, Adrian was nowhere to be found. "Wh-What the… Where did he go?!" He rubbed his eyes in confusion and took another look, but Adrian was definitely nowhere to be found. He started cursing loudly. Suddenly, a cold voice came from behind Wolfclaw, "Looking for me?" "What?!" Wolfclaw felt a chill down his spine as he turned around. Adrian was now standing before him. "H-How did you…" Wolfclaw stammered and retreated a few steps back, his face deadly pale. "When did you get here? Wh-What are you doing?" Adrian smiled. "Can’t you tell? Funnily, it's the exact same thing you were thinking of doing. You want to kill me, so I want to kill you." "Y-You…" Wolfclaw trembled, on the verge of a meltdown. Filled with despair, he yelled through his communicator, "Someone! Anyone! Get over here and help me! Draco is here!" "That's enough. Your entire crew is dead." Brett walked in, dragging two corpses behind him. When the corpses landed before Wolfclaw, he stammered, "Gunther? Scorps?" As his mouth hung open, he finally understood why he had lost contact with them. They were dead this whole time. Wolfclaw got on his knees and cried, "I'm sorry, sir! Please spare me! I have a daughter, and she's only a year old. She can't go on without me." Rondoniers were arrogant when facing the weak, but would pitifully plead for mercy when struck with fear. Adrian smiled. "What has she got to do with me?" "No!" Splat! Wolfclaw clutched his neck and choked on his blood as he collapsed to the floor.
