Amelia’s POV I'm woken up by the sound of chirping birds. I grunt and roll over on my other side, bringing the covers on my body over my face. I try to go back to sleep, but the sound from the birds keeps getting higher. It's like they're sitting right outside my window. I pull the covers off my body, but I almost immediately regret it. The cold air in the room nips at my skin, forming goosebumps on my arms and legs. I shiver as I stand up on my feet, stretching out my arms. I take a step forward, but I'm pulled back into the bed by a strong arm around my waist. "Where do you think you're going?" Eliseo whispers with a husky voice in my ear, sending tingles down my spine. Eliseo hasn't seen me since he left me in that hospital room. I went out to search for Rudy before we could meet again. He was quite pissed that I went off to find him and I understand him. I would've been pissed too, but I told him the reason and he seemed very satisfied with it
