After Paul conveyed Jimmy's plan to Charlie, he asked for Charlie's opinion. Charlie was actually surprised that Jimmy would bring Nate and his colleagues over so soon after he returned to the States, but he also knew very well what Jimmy had in mind. "We will be flying first thing tomorrow, so it'll be morning again when we arrive at Aurous Hill. We will head to Shangri-La as soon as we land!" "Okay," Paul replied. "Just give me a heads up when you arrive. I'll talk to Mr. Wade so he can decide when to drop by." "No problem!" Jimmy replied delightedly. "I'll call you first thing when we land." - With Nate in the lead, Jimmy and every key member of Ares LLC boarded a Boeing 777 at JFK. They were all in high spirits, though it was Nate who was most pleased. The man could hardly stop smiling, leaving his cheek muscles a little stiff. After all, Jimmy had promised him that Julien would be there personally for their meeting before their flight, and Nate felt as though he could skip around in the cabin at the thought. It was as if he were the mayor of a small town and the vice-president had suddenly announced his visit. To him, Jimmy now looked like a goddess—the more he looked at him, the more worshipful he was, and he felt as though he could kiss him right then. Still, he felt a little emotional that Jimmy had somehow become the champion of Ares LLC—if they could come to a friendly understanding with Julien, their future would be endlessly bright!
