Cressida didn't open her eyes and answered flatly, "You don't have the right to ask me that."
"I don't have the right?" Luther sneered. "Cressida, we've been married for three years. The reason you're lying here is because of the woman I'm going to marry. So tell me, don't I have the right to know?"
Her eyes snapped open, but her gaze held nothing but coldness. "You lost that right from the moment you chose to cover up for Natasha. Now get lost!"
He stared at her for a long time before turning and leaving. As he reached for the door, a doctor walked in, and they nearly collided.
The doctor wore gold-rimmed glasses and exuded a gentle demeanor. Luther recognized him as the psychiatrist Tristan had brought in yesterday.
"Mr. Strudwick." The doctor nodded politely.
