Chapter 85 No Right to Order Me Around
Luther's words finally snapped Natasha back to the present. She regained her senses and lowered her head in panic to cover up her loss of composure. "I-I'm alright, Lud."
She forced a smile, and it looked terribly ugly. "I just didn't sleep well last night because I was too nervous, so I'm feeling a little dizzy now."
She buried her face in Luther's chest before continuing, "It's wonderful to hear that Mrs. Strudwick Senior is fine now…"
Just then, Cressida walked out of the emergency room. She took off her mask. Her forehead was covered in fine sweat, and she was pale from exhaustion.
As she walked past Luther and Natasha, she paused for a moment and turned to look at Natasha, who was trembling in Luther's arms. "I think you're reacting this way not because you didn't sleep well but more because you have a guilty conscience."
Luther's arms froze around Natasha. He looked up at Cressida with a frown. "What do you mean by that?"
Cressida's words caused Natasha to tremble even more
