Kate's POV After the very strange meeting with the vampire chief I was a little on edge "I'll have ways to persuade you" What does that supposed to mean, there's nothing that clan as to offer me except protection which I clearly don't need. Ashley and I ran home full speed and it only took 1 minute to get somewhere 10km away. When we arrived home, I stared at Ashley "Why do you think , they wanted me to join their clan?" I asked her and she shrugged. "I have no idea, unless you have some freaky powers I don't know about" She joked, and I laughed. "I'm pretty sure I'm just like you" I replied, and she nodded. I unlocked the front door and we walked in, suddenly great pain attacks my body and leaves me breathless. l kneel-ed down to the floor and collapsed onto the ground and clutched my stomach in pain, I cried out in agony and Ashley paces the room trying to figure out what the hell’s going on.
