Francine immediately noticed only three out of four kids in the living room when she came in. When she assessed everyone's expressions, she immediately knew Joey had yet to be found.
"How did it happen, Grandma? Joey should be perfectly safe in this house. Did you bring the kids out of the house?" asked Francine.
Pamela sobbed and explained, "No, I didn't. I'm too old to take them outside myself. Greg and I only brought the kids to the yard after dinner. A balloon seller with glowing balloons passed by, and the kids begged us to buy them the balloons. I asked Bowen to go, but the kids insisted on choosing the balloons for themselves, so they went along with Bowen. When Bowen was making payments, the seller suddenly let go of the balloons in his hand, grabbed Joey, and ran away!"
