Aurora's POV I picked a long black gown, not exquisite but nice and comfortable. My bump hadn't started showing, but I could feel the growth in me. My face glowed too, and I had an increased appetite for meals I would turn away from. The dining room was silent except for some maids arranging the meals served. My stomach groaned in response, and without hesitating, I settled as the maid served me a plate. Halfway through the meal, Xavier showed up from one of the doors. I tried to keep myself composed because everything about last night and earlier was still fresh, and I knew if I locked eyes with him, I was going to lose myself. He moved closer and settled near me. I took a sharp breath, dropping my fork which drew a laugh from him. I shot him a dark look, picking my fork furiously. “What do you want?” He picked a bunch of berries from the tray of fruits, munched on some and dropped the remainder on an empty plate.
