Gavin’s POV
I paced my room; I had just finished showering, and I was wearing only boxers. I ran my fingers through my soaked hair, watching as water droplets landed on the ground. Anger was festering in my chest, and my wolf was itching to get out and go for a run, but I held him back because the way he was right now was unstable. I worried he might do if I were to set him free at the moment.
I couldn’t get Mica’s words out of my head; she was free to move on to the next round. In hindsight, I should have been happy for her. That was what she was here for, right?
