Chapter 73
Dorothy's POV
I clutched the bouquet of tulips tightly, anxiously checking my phone for flight updates. Draven's plane had touched down at Valebrook International Airport fifteen minutes ago. Any moment now, I'd see my brother for the first time in years.
The arrivals hall was absolutely packed with fans—mostly teenage girls and young women holding handmade signs with Draven's face plastered across them. Even a few middle-aged men stood hopefully with albums tucked under their arms. My brother's homecoming was apparently major news in Valebrook.
I found a quiet corner where I could watch the whole hall without drawing attention. The last thing I needed was to be recognized as "Draven McAllister's sister" and swarmed by his fan club.
My phone vibrated in my hand, and I sighed when I saw Rowan's name on the screen. Of course he'd call, even on my day off.
"I'm on leave today," I answered, unable to keep the slight edge from my voice.
Rowan's soft chuckle filled my ear. "I know, Miss Mill
