I drew in the night air, letting it fill my lungs like a promise of something new, as Theodore drove us through the quiet streets. The whole debacle at the club had been caught on my phone. Howard Banks wouldn’t be bothering anyone again. “You’ve got that broody look again,” Theodore said, glancing at me from the corner of his eye.
