“Sure, I’ll get it for you.”
“No need, I can do it. Where’s the kitchen?”
Holding her bowl, Ella darted off in the direction Mrs. Lacey pointed.
“This kid, always in a rush.”
Mrs. Lacey chuckled. “I’ll go check on her, make sure she doesn’t get lost.”
“Wait, Mrs. Lacey.” Celeste called out as she eyed the giant basket of stuffed eggplant on the table, the smell too tempting. “Is there more of those
