"My parents died. No one's grief could ever hurt more than mine. Caleb, that's enough."
No matter how heartbroken or angry Caleb and Lily were, it couldn't compare to the agony Celeste carried-she watched with her own eyes as her parents were swallowed by the fire, completely powerless to save them.
