Thanks to last night's chaos, Celeste felt like a limp noodle all day. She barely had the energy to lift a finger and ended up buried in her blanket until late afternoon. The more she slept, the more she wanted to keep sleeping - like she could stay in bed forever. Just before dusk, Ethan came home and gave the quilt a few pats to wake her up.
