Friday night, when Amelia Johnson wrapped up her shoot, she headed straight back to the Johnson house. As soon as she walked in, Grace Williams pulled her aside and said, “I remember seeing your brush calligraphy, it’s pretty good. Why don’t you help your sister write some of her wedding invites?” Amelia frowned. “How many are we talking about here? Wouldn’t it be easier to just print them?” Seriously, her hand would be sore after that. And it wasn’t even her wedding—why bother? “Oh come on, that’s not the same. Handwritten ones show sincerity,” Grace insisted. Amelia could see right through her. This had nothing to do with sincerity—it was just another excuse to mess with her. But she wasn’t going to stupidly play along. “Aunt Grace, where’s Sabrina? We're writing her invites, but she’s nowhere around?” “She’s a bit under the weather, so she’s resting upstairs,” Grace replied. More like trying to dodge the task, Amelia thought. She sprung up from the couch instantly, feigning concern.
