After everyone ordered what they liked, the waiter soon began bringing dishes one after another.
All three were in a good mood. The vibe during dinner was chill, and everyone had a pretty solid appetite.
By the time they left Shangyah Pavilion, it was already close to 9 PM.
“Grandpa, do you want to take a walk nearby?” Cassandra Taylor asked, even though she figured all he probably wanted now was to get back to the hotel and rest.
Sure enough, Alexander Taylor waved his hand, “No need, it’s getting late. Let’s head back to the hotel for tonight. We can stroll around Velaria another day.”
“Alright,” Cassandra replied softly.
After Richard Taylor opened the door for her grandfather and everyone got into the car, Cassandra started driving back to the hotel.
The next morning.
Cassandra woke up without an alarm, glanced at the clock: 11:24 AM.
She let out a lazy hum, stretched a bit, and spaced out at the ceiling.
