In the makeshift interrogation room, the harsh glare of the lights bore down on the assassin dressed as a doctor.
Pale from blood loss, the man's sinister eyes locked onto Aiden with venomous intensity. "Bloodhand Farmer," he spat, voice dripping with malice. "Thought I'd timed it perfectly. Turns out I still underestimated you."
Aiden's voice was ice. "Who sent you? How did you know I'd be here? Did someone tip you off?"

Aiden scoffed. "You think silence will stop me from finding out? You're part of that human trafficking ring—that's how you knew my mission. Those missing girls near Phoenix? Plenty come from influential families. And with so many shipments, someone should've noticed by now."
His gaze sharpened. "Yet for six months, not a single investigation. That means you've got moles—either in the police or customs. Hell, maybe even among my own team. Otherwise, how else would you strike the moment my guard was down?"
