Yandel sped his way to the hospital with Verian in the car. Both Yannis and Xylean were holding onto Verian’s hand while she was being wheeled in. Verian was completely drenched in sweat as she cried out in agonizing pain. “Ouch… I don’t want to give birth anymore! Argh…! I don’t want to give birth anymore!” Yannis’s heart wrenched as she watched Verian in pain. However, now that things had progressed this far, she had to give birth regardless of how painful the whole ordeal was. She comforted her, “Hang in there. Just hang in there a little longer and it’ll be over real soon!” Verian was bawling from the pain as her tears mixed with her sweat when it rolled down from the corner of her eyes. She said, “Mom, where’s Heaton? Have you reached him yet? I am literally in pain! Mom… I don’t want to give birth anymore!” Xylean immediately said, “We just contacted Heaton earlier and he had just landed. He’s on his way from the airport now! Verian, just hang in there. Heaton will be here real soon!” A sudden sharp pain shot out from her belly as Verian said while gritting her teeth, “I will not give birth if he’s not here yet!” “Heaton is already on his way! Hang in there Riana! I’ll give him a call again to rush him, okay?” Verian yelled while she sobbed as her agonizing pain made her lose all sense of rationality, “Damn you, Heaton! Why do you want a second child!” Yandel reached out to pull Little Jelly Bean aside before covering her eyes with his huge hand. Little Jelly Bean was standing beside Yandel’s leg while grabbing his hand. “Uncle, why are you covering my eyes?” It would be inappropriate for a child to watch something as bloody as a baby’s delivery. Yandel removed his hand only after Verian was wheeled into the surgery room. Little Jelly Bean looked toward the surgery room before looking up to ask Yandel, “Uncle, is Monty in the surgery room already?” Yandel nodded as he said, “Don’t worry, it’ll be over real soon.” “I want to go in there to see Monty.” “Children are not allowed in.” Little Jelly Bean pouted her lips and shrugged. She said, “Alright then. Children should just wait outside, I guess.” Yandel was calm as he raised his hand to pat Little Jelly Bean’s head with a calm smile before carrying her onto a chair as he said, “Just sit here for a while.” Yannis was extremely worried as she paced back and forth outside the surgery room. Little Jelly Bean rested her head on both of her hands as she spoke in a childish tone, “Grandma, can you stop pacing? I’m getting dizzy watching you walk around.” Yandel told his mother as well, “Mom, you should also come and sit here for a while. It will be fine since there are specialists.” Yannis asked in a worried tone, “Where’s Heaton? Just look at how worried Riana was and if Heaton is by her side, she might feel a little better.” Yannis gave Heaton another call. “Five more minutes. He should be able to make it on time.” Xylean brought Yannis over and sat her down. She comforted her, “Aunty, this is Verian’s second child so it should be easier for her. Heaton then walked over to her, knelt by her bed and immediately grabbed her hand. He said, “I’m here, Riana.” Verian opened her teary eyes and when she noticed the man in front of her, she felt emotional and resent toward him. She yelled out, “What took you so long, Heaton…! I was so afraid earlier… Ah…!” She felt a sudden sharp tearing pain as her fingers dug into the back of Heaton’s hand. Heaton felt the dull pain as he frowned while allowing Verian to continue scratching and grabbing him. The man moved her sweat soaked hair aside before placing his huge hand onto her forehead and comforting her, “You will be fine because I am by your side.” However, it seemed like his sweet talk had little to no effect on Verian. Verian then said, “Heaton, I really want to curse you!” Heaton was speechless. However, after that, Heaton calmly said, “Go ahead.” Verian was speechless. The doctor instructed her from the side, “Breath in, breath in and push…” “Ah! Heaton, you b*stard! I don’t ever want another child! You have no idea how much this goddamn hurts!” Heaton grabbed onto her tiny hand, placed it next to his lips and gave her a kiss. He stared at her as his heart wrenched before saying, “Alright. We won’t have another child in future again.” “You liar! I hate you!” Who was the one who lied to her that giving birth to a second child was easy?! The doctor said, “Miss, please stop talking and focus now. Come on, push…” “Ah… I can’t!” The entire situation turned into chaos. Heaton whispered into her ear, “Then, think about what you would do if you caught me with a mistress?” Verian was speechless. Verian wanted to say something. She wanted to tell him not to ever bring up divorce again. However, she passed out. She could somewhat hear Heaton’s worried voice saying something. She wanted to ask him if what he had just said was real or not. However, she was too exhausted. In her daze, she could hear Heaton say something in pure confidence, “I love you, Verian Mont.” She wanted to reply, “Heaton Fudd, I love you too.” However… she passed out.
