The sinking feeling inside me increases when Xander stands up and lazily walks around the table towards us. "I'm still waiting for the answer." He speaks lowly only for me to hear but Eldon growls warning him to step back. Xander smirks raising his hand up and steps back. "Woah, quiet there Alpha, don't want our host to mess with me. I'm just asking for the help here." Xander shrugs and I wince as Eldon holds on my hand tightens. "It's up to Adele. And I think she disagrees." Eldon retorts and Xander raises his one brow. "Isn't it against the rules to refuse the help?" Xander questions. Eldon sighs and releases my hand smiling. "You missed a important part here. The rules are for the people who are part of the fest. And Adele isn't marked yet, legally she does not come under the rules for the fest." Eldon smirks and finally I smile impressed and thinking as why I didn't think of this loophole?
