I shook my head and said firmly, "Let's get the divorce over with."
Jonathan's hand clenched tightly on the table. I could see the veins bulging on the back of it.
But there was no going back. Once I made up my mind, nothing could change it.
After a while, he finally loosened his grip and put on his usual calm expression. He looked at the officer and said, "Bring me the forms. I'll fill them out."
This was the final step, but midway through filling out the forms, Jonathan suddenly stopped and frowned.
I glanced at him curiously. "What's wrong?"
"I forgot something. Can you check it for me on my phone?" he replied.
I pressed my lips together. Of course, he always had to make things more complicated.
But since I just wanted to get this divorce done, I gave in and reached for his phone. "What's your password?" I asked.
Jonathan shot me a look. "You don't remember it?"
My gaze flickered. Was I supposed to remember his password?
