DOMINIC’S POV
I couldn’t breathe.
My chest tightened as Olivia’s words echoed in my ears, sharp and unforgiving. The look in her eyes—not hatred, not disappointment, but a carefully constructed wall of indifference—was what hurt the most. She had mastered the art of pretending I didn’t matter. And tonight, she wielded it like a dagger.
"You really think you can lead with your heart so tangled in lies? No wonder your judgment has always been clouded, Dominic. No wonder you chose Evelyn, and from now on, you shouldn’t come back to me and ask why I chose Derek over my own mate."
