Riyana was still in bed when the doorbell rang. The sound pulled her out of sleep. She sat up slowly, sunlight already filling the room. She rubbed her face before opening her eyes properly. The other side of the bed was empty. She stepped down onto the floor and walked out of the room. The moment she reached the living area, she froze. Rose was standing there, staring at her in shock.
