Nina “Okay,” Enzo said, flashing me a bit of a smile as he sat across from me. “I trust you. And I think I will play some hockey tonight.” Enzo’s words made my heart leap in my chest. I was so happy that he was willing to play hockey again. Even if the world was going to crumble around us in the next few days, I just wanted to see him happy and doing the one thing that he loved most in the world, even for just a few hours. Things could go back to doom and gloom after that for all I cared; I just wanted these next few hours to be full of smiles and laughter.
