Abigail tried hard to convince herself that perhaps it was because nutritionists had different requirements domestically versus internationally. That had to be the reason.
But even with different standards, Joyce's father shouldn't possibly cook food that horrid, right? Which institution had issued his certificate? He must've bribed them!
"We should still hire a local one. I'll arrange it." Abigail smiled slightly, forcefully suppressing all the thoughts flashing through her mind.
Abigail ultimately assigned the task of brewing the herbal medicine to Owen. It wasn't for any particular reason; she was just worried that Joyce's parents would waste the precious herbs. So, until the nutritionist arrived, Owen would have to handle the brewing.
"I won't do it." Owen's stubborn streak kicked in again. "Abby, you've already done enough. Look how badly I got tricked before, and now, you want me to help out? I won't."
