Chapter 56 SLOANE The elevator doors opened on the fifth floor, and I looked up to see Dmitri stepping forward, clearly intending to board. His expression shifted immediately when he saw us on the floor. "What happened?" he asked, abandoning his original destination and kneeling beside us. "Panic attack," I said quickly. "Ramon Vasquez was in the elevator, talking on his phone. Tommy recognized something." Dmitri's jaw tightened at the mention of Ramon's name, but he focused on Tommy with professional calm.  "Tommy, can you hear me? I need you to try to slow your breathing.
