When Channing and Daniel arrived, dinner was almost ready. Stella came out of the kitchen, “Go wash your hands first, and we can eat in five minutes.” Daniel looked around and asked, “Will we not wait for Mr. Conrad?” Stella poured a glass of water for each of them, “No, he will come back late today.” After leaving the studio in the afternoon, Stella called Clarence and told him about dinner. Clarence has several meetings tonight and can't come back. Although Winnie didn't tell him what happened yesterday, Channing knew that she went to the studio to shoot yesterday morning. When Stella called them over for dinner tonight, he guessed it.
