Chapter 71 We Should Live Together for a While
When Harry came out, Catherine was lying on the bed with her back to him. Just one glance at her made his suppressed desire flare up again.
He forced himself to look away. His throat was dry as he asked, " Do you want to take a bath?"
Catherine murmured softly in agreement, barely able to open her eyes.
Harry filled the bathtub with water, then carried Catherine into it. While washing her body, he said in a low voice, "Think about what I said."
Catherine opened her eyes, cold and distant. "There's nothing to think about. I will raise my own child."
Harry went silent for a moment. "Do you really have to push things to the point where no one's happy?"
Catherine's voice was weak after their intimacy. "You got one thing wrong. You were the one who made me unhappy first," she said.
They locked eyes for a brief moment. Harry slid his hand into the warm water and pressed his palm against Catherine's stomach. He became more assertive, and his dark eyes fixed on her face as he smiled car
