Chapter 67 Harry Actually Cares About Her
Harry's words made Catherine's body tense up again.
She lowered her eyes and whispered, "Harry, you have so much already, and you're not lacking women. Why do you have to fight me for this child?"
Behind her, there was nothing but Harry's steady breathing. He had already fallen asleep and probably didn't hear a single word she said.
Catherine lifted his arm from her waist and slowly sat at the edge of the bed. She found herself thinking back to the kiss she just shared with Harry.
She touched her lips and couldn't help but laugh at herself. That look in his eyes had almost tricked her into believing that Harry actually cared about her.
In truth, it wasn't that Harry cared. He was only being considerate for the child's sake. Without the child in the picture, he never did look at her kindly.
Catherine stood up and went into the guest room next door. She had grown used to sleeping alone.
