Harry's temper snapped. He grabbed the ashtray on the desk and hurled it at Jeremy.
Jeremy shifted aside, and the ashtray shattered at his feet. He stepped over the shards with careless ease and drawled, "Don't get so worked up. No matter how angry you are, it won't change the fact that you're blind."
Harry glared at him, forcing out his words through clenched teeth. "You're not right in the head. Go get help."
Jeremy turned and walked out.

He sank into his chair, rubbing his tired eyes, but his fingers brushed the cut on his brow. The sharp sting made his gaze turn cold.
