Chapter 1472

Men became different when they were in love. The boarding announcement blared over the speakers as Arthur's entourage reached the security checkpoint. One of his subordinates moved to remind them, but before he could, Tracey shot him a glare that made him freeze in place. If they missed the security check, so be it. Arthur released Tracey and gently brushed her cheek. "All right, I have to go now. Take care of yourself while I'm away. Wait for me." Tracey nodded, tiptoeing to kiss his lips, her cheeks flushing slightly. She spoke hesitantly, "Arthur, when you come back from this mission, let’s—" "Hmm? What?" Her voice was barely audible amidst the noise of the surroundings, and Arthur could not catch the second half. Feeling embarrassed to repeat herself, Tracey pushed him lightly. "Oh, it's nothing. Just go and be safe." Arthur did not press further, waving his hand. "All right, see you." As he turned, a loud shout came from behind, "Remember to miss me!" Her voice was so loud that everyone nearby turned to look. Arthur chuckled and nodded back at her. Tracey stood in the lobby, watching as they all passed through security. She waited until they were completely out of sight before leaving the airport. Once in the car, Tracey remembered the sentence Arthur had not quite heard, regretting not speaking louder just now. "Ugh!" Leaning on the steering wheel, Tracey felt frustrated. What she had said was, “Arthur, when you come back from this mission, let's get married.” They had been together for so long, and their relationship had always been stable. Tracey felt like they were ready for this step. However, Arthur never brought it up. She had hinted at it before, but with his thick skull, he never seemed to understand. Tracey also did not want to be too direct, afraid he would think she was not reserved enough. She did not have the confidence, either. Arthur liked his freedom, and he was very casual about things. What if he only wanted to date her and not get married? After all, marriage was a completely different state of life from dating. Tracey sighed, feeling uncertain. At that moment, her phone rang. It was Solomon calling. "Hey," she answered the phone. "Why does your voice sound so lifeless? Not happy?" Solomon's voice came through. Tracey continued to sigh. "I just sent my boyfriend off and won't be able to see him for half a month. Do you think I can be happy?" “I thought something happened. Arthur boarded the plane?" "Yeah, almost." After a pause, Tracey said, "Can you keep an eye on him for me? He's always reckless when he's on a mission." Solomon chuckled teasingly, "I thought you were going to ask me to keep an eye on him so he wouldn't fool around." Tracey snorted, "Hmph! Not everyone is like you, Solomon. My Arthur isn't as fickle as you!" "In my defense, I'm not fickle. I'm faithful to every girlfriend I have." "Yeah, yeah, but each of your girlfriends never lasted more than a week." "That was before!" Solomon quickly responded. Tracey knew that. Ever since he got together with Ines, he had not had another girlfriend. Ines was also his longest relationship to date. Tracey laughed, "Should I congratulate Mr. Rowland on getting off the market, then?" The two often bantered and were used to it. Suddenly, Tracey remembered and asked, "Wait, Solomon, isn't it still dark in Monafett right now? Why are you calling me so early?" Solomon spoke up, "I need a favor." "It's rare for Mr Rowland to need my help. Go ahead. Let me see what I can do." Solomon immediately said, "Ines hasn't answered my calls or messages for two days. I'm worried something happened to her. Can you go check on her for me?"
