Chapter 1455

After a moment, Solomon saw her struggling to catch her breath. He then mercifully released her, sporting a smirk. "Your body speaks more truth than your lips." He whispered in her ear, "We haven't tried the office yet. Do you want to give it a shot?" Ines widened her eyes and struggled even harder. She refused! Ines fought fiercely, and Solomon, not wanting to scare her further, said, "Stay still. Let me hold you for a moment, and then I'll let you go." He wanted her badly, but he had not considered taking her here. The office could have been better, with its potentially poor soundproofing and the small couch hindering their freedom. Ines stiffened, not daring to move. "That's better," Solomon said, embracing her. He ran his hand through her hair. "Don't make me angry." Ines feared Solomon might lose control, so she did not dare move a muscle or say a word. Solomon held Ines quietly, the scent of the girl making him restless. He was reluctant to let go, but he wanted her. Two months apart had made him genuinely miss her. Once this busy period was over, everything would be fine. After a while, Solomon finally let her go, straightened out her disheveled clothes and skirt, and kissed her face. As he left, he playfully nipped her lips as punishment. "Ouch!" Ines winced in pain. With a smile in his eyes, Solomon said, "Next time, if you lie, I won't let you off so easily." Ines wanted to say she had not lied; she tried to break up with him. However, she was afraid of angering him further. Solomon looked at her and said, "Since you're busy this afternoon, I won't disturb your lunchtime. I'll pick you up after work and have dinner together." His flight to Monafett was at 10:00 P.M., leaving enough time for them to have dinner. Ines hesitated for a moment before softly agreeing. After a while, seeing Solomon sitting on the couch without leaving, she asked, "You aren't leaving yet?" Solomon took a deep breath, his eyes cold as he stared at her. "Give me a break. What will others think of me if I leave now?" Ines was stunned for a moment. She glanced at him, suddenly realizing the meaning behind his words, and immediately turned her head, too embarrassed to look at him. Her ears turned red. Solomon crossed his arms and leaned back on the couch, staring at her profile, a teasing smile playing at the corner of his mouth. They had been together for so long, yet she was still so easily embarrassed. After spending some time in the office, Solomon left once his mood had calmed. In the elevator, a woman in professional attire looked at Solomon and greeted him with a smile, "Mr. Rowland, it's been a while since you visited the TV station." Rowland Corporation sponsored many programs on the TV station, so everyone was familiar with him and knew that he would often visit the station for inspections. Solomon smiled faintly. "Hello, did you miss me?" Queenie was a TV station anchor. She was beautiful and had a good figure. Suitors constantly pursued her, yet she remained uninterested. Queenie smiled awkwardly but was secretly delighted, blushing a bit as she said shyly, "Yes, I missed you." Solomon chuckled but did not say anything. Queenie's eyes twinkled as she continued, "Mr. Rowland, you haven't had lunch yet, right? I know a good French restaurant nearby. How about I treat you to lunch?" Just as the elevator reached the ground floor, Solomon stepped out, still wearing a half-smile. "How could I let a beauty treat me to a meal?" Queenie felt excited. "It's okay, Mr. Rowland. I don’t mind."
