Chapter 1257

Kyle looked at Rory, and after so many years of seeing him again, he was still as annoying as ever! He could not stand him! Kyle stared at Rory with icy eyes and gritted his teeth. "It has indeed been a while." Rory smiled faintly, appearing calm compared to the hatred in Kyle's eyes. He glanced at the villa behind Kyle and raised an eyebrow, asking, "Where's Zoe?" Kyle's eyes flashed with a hint of darkness, and just as he was about to speak, he heard Rory speak arrogantly, "Why not let her come out and meet me? After all, she’s one of ours." Kyle was infuriated upon hearing this. "The previous Zoe is long gone. The current Zoe is my wife and has nothing to do with Secret." Rory chuckled softly. "It's been a while since I heard such a funny joke." "I won't let you see Zoe!" Kyle narrowed his eyes. He had not planned on letting Rory and his group leave alive today. Rory sneered, his gaze locked onto Kyle. "Kyle, it's not up to you! Zoe was a part of Secret from the day she was born. Even if she died, she'd still be one of us! "Do you think you can marry her just by fooling her into it while she has amnesia? If she regains her memory, the first person she'll want to kill is you!" Kyle's face, which was already unsightly, grew even darker upon hearing Rory's words. Rory continued mockingly, "By the way, I heard Zoe is pregnant. Well, Kyle, I'll give you two options: either hand Zoe over to me now and if I'm in a good mood, I might let her keep the child. Otherwise, don't blame me for being ruthless and taking both their lives!" Kyle's breath hitched, and his fists clenched audibly. There was a murderous intent in his eyes. "Did you think you could still control Zoe's life and death?" "Get them!" He shouted, and in the next second, a group of bodyguards came out from the villa, pointing their guns at Rory and Adam. Facing so many enemies, Adam remained calm, his eyes showing no signs of panic. Rory, on the other hand, sneered. "Quite the show of force." "Sir! Sir!" Suddenly, a servant from the villa rushed out in a hurry. "Sir, it's bad! Madam! Madam, she..." Upon hearing that Zoe was in trouble, Kyle did not care about anything else. He rushed into the house. Before he even entered the house, he heard Zoe's agonizing cries. "It hurts. It hurts so much. Ky." "Zoe!" Kyle burst into the room and saw Zoe writhing in pain on the floor. The surrounding servants wanted to approach and help her but did not dare to get too close. Kyle took a quick step forward and held Zoe tightly in his arms. "Zoe, what's wrong?" "Ky, it hurts so much." Zoe grabbed onto Kyle's arm. Her face was pale, and her hair was soaked in cold sweat in less than two minutes. "Zoe, where does it hurt?" Zoe weakly shook her head, her face as white as paper. Zoe did not know what was happening to her. She had been fine just moments ago while eating, but suddenly, she felt excruciating pain all over her body. Kyle was anxious, pacing back and forth like an ant on a hot pan. He shouted to the servants, "What are you waiting for? Call the doctor!" There was a family doctor in the villa, and soon, all the doctors arrived. Kyle carried Zoe upstairs, and he watched her in pain, feeling like his heart was being torn apart. Due to the pregnancy, the doctors did not dare to prescribe painkillers for Zoe, so they could only conduct a thorough examination first. However, after a comprehensive examination, the doctors found nothing wrong with Zoe's body except for slightly low blood pressure. Kyle was furious and worried, shouting at the doctors, "She's in so much pain; how can there be nothing wrong?" "Mr. Goodman, please calm down. We have conducted a detailed examination of Mrs. Goodman. Her body seems to be in good condition. We—"
