Chapter 1251
Mable looked at every photo in the album as Blair whispered stories about these pictures in her ear.
"Tracey took this photo at the racetrack, where you helped her confront a couple of bullies.
"And this one was taken on the island, with the church in the background where we had our wedding, the place Zoe showed you during your video call in the afternoon."
In the photo, she and Blair stood hand in hand in front of the solemn church. Around them, there were vast fields of pink roses, and their smiles were dazzling under the sunlight.
Mable touched the photo and could not help but smile. "This church is stunning."
Blair turned off the hairdryer and gently gathered Mable's long hair. "Mabes, would you like to visit it?"
"Yes," Mable replied without hesitation. "Let's go to Bay Island in a few days to see Zoe and visit this church."
Blair nodded gently. "Alright, can we do it next Friday and bring the kids for a weekend getaway on the island?"
"Sure."
Mable continued flipping through the album while Blair sat beside her.
When she reached the last page, Mable blushed instantly. "When was this photo taken?"
This photo was taken in the bedroom, and it showed Blair coming out of the bathroom, wearing only a black bathrobe that revealed his muscular chest and abs. He gazed at the camera with deep, teasing eyes.
Blair sat down next to Mable and said, "This photo."
He looked at the photo Mable was holding and seemed to recall something with a smile formed.
Mable blushed even more at his smile. "Why are you smiling like that?"
"Mabes, you took this photo," Blair said.
Mable widened her eyes and stared at Blair. "I took it?"
Blair hugged Mable's waist and buried his face in her neck, taking a deep breath. His voice became seductive and husky. "You praised my physique back then and said you wanted to take more pictures of me."
Mable pushed Blair away. "How is that possible? I don't have such a hobby."
Blair chuckled and pinched Mable's nose. "You indeed took this photo; I'm not lying to you."
After a pause, Blair continued to explain, "Do you think I would let anyone else into my bedroom besides you?"
Mable pursed her lips and smiled without saying a word.
Blair took the album from Mable's hand, closed it, and put it aside. "We've finished looking at the album. How about we talk about the more important one?"
Mable raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by the 'more important one'?"
Blair wrapped his arms around Mable and leaned down to kiss her forehead. "Mabes, you seem to have forgotten something for my birthday gift."
Mable looked puzzled. "Forgotten something?"
"Do you remember what I said when you asked me what I wanted for my birthday?"
Mable's gaze flickered and said. "I don't remember."
Knowing that Mable was pretending not to remember, he reminded her. "I said I only want you."
Mable stared at Blair. "I've already given you a birthday gift, Blair. You can't be so greedy!"
Blair held Mable's chin and gently traced her lips with his fingertip. "Mabes, I'm not greedy anymore. Having you is enough."
With those words, Blair kissed Mable on the lips.
Mable lifted her head slightly, not resisting his kiss. The passionate kiss made everything else feel natural.
Her pajamas slid down slowly. The air conditioning blew to her body, which was cold, but all she felt was the warmth he gave to her.
“Mabes.”
The night was quiet but filled with their love and affection.
As the night wore on, Blair carried Mable out of the bathroom and carefully dressed her in clean pajamas.
Mable turned over and held Blair; her voice was slightly hoarse. "I want some water."
