Chapter 3773
Costa Corporation was one of the O’Connor family’s businesses in Satbury. It had many subsidiaries spanning across various industries under it. Isabella and Tati jointly managed Costa Corporation.
The O’Connors had been around in Satbury for decades, which allowed them to accumulate that much wealth. Of course, they had gone through many hardships, one of which was when Isabella first took over the businesses.
Many people anticipated all of the O’Connor family’s companies to get into trouble and go bankrupt. Some even hoped they would be in debt.
Most of them were doubtful of Isabella and Tati.
However, the companies managed to overcome the crisis, and the O’Connor family flourished from that point onward.
Isabella and Tati were the main decision-makers in the family. They were the youngest among all business tycoons. Isabella was only twenty-seven, while Tati was even younger.
Edith and Eleanor were of similar ages and worked in one of the family’s businesses. Since they were still young, they were not as well known as Isabella and Tati, whom everyone in the business knew.
On the other hand, only a few people had heard of Edith and Eleanor.
With the wealth the O’Connor family owned and with two young and beautiful heads of family, many people had their eyes on Isabella and Tati.
One of those people was the interim head of the Longbottom family.
He had visited Costa Corporation countless times and asked to meet Isabella. However, the receptionist would always request that he make an appointment beforehand.
Although Mr. Longbottom had seized the position, he was not the official head of the family and could not truly be in control of the Longbottoms without the totem and seal. Even so, he was still the interim and could basically get whatever he wanted.
The Longbottom family was superior compared to the Fisher family.
Despite the position of the Fisher family’s matriarch falling to Belinda’s hands, it had returned to the previous matriarch’s bloodlines decades later.
With living proof that such things could happen, Mr. Longbottom was anxious.
He did not want to be like Belinda. She had worked hard for decades just for everything to be returned to the previous matriarch’s descendants. He had spent a lot of effort. The scheming had started in his grandfather’s time, and it had finally come to fruition in his time.
However, Mr. Longbottom had failed to find the family totem and seal. As such, he could not mobilize many of the family’s elites and guards.
The true successor who went missing was three or four years old by now. He would probably be in his thirties by the time he grew up and was capable enough. That boy could do something similar to what Audrey Stone did, bringing her family to Jensburg to retrieve what belonged to her.
If that happened, Mr. Longbottom would meet the same ending as Belinda.
That was the worst-case scenario he very much wanted to avoid.
Mr. Longbottom had never ceased looking for the boy who took away the totem and seal. If his memory served him right, the boy’s name was Laurence. According to the family tree, he was Laurence’s uncle.
Mr. Longbottom was the oldest of his generation within the family.
Aside from assigning people to locate Laurence, he also got acquainted with wealthy families. He thought that if he were strong enough by the time Laurence returned, he could force Laurence to hand over the totem and seal to him.
That way, he could become the legitimate head of the Longbottom family.
In the future, that position would be handed down to his descendants. They would no longer have to obey other people.
Naturally, Mr. Longbottom would not leave Laurence alive. He would end Laurence’s life after getting what he needed.
That way, the main family’s bloodline would end there and then.
After Mr. Longbottom became the head, his children and grandchildren would be promoted to the main family as well.
