Duncan immediately hurried Liberty to handle the discharge paperwork.
The doctor whined in his head, ‘The doctors and nurses have enough of your daily fuss anyway. The early discharge is not a big deal, so you can leave if you want to.’
The Lewises were wealthy, and they had their family doctors. The Lewis family would hire specialized care for Duncan when he got out of the hospital.
“Doctor, is my son fine to be discharged?”
Mrs. Lewis was worried that her son’s condition may worsen after the discharge.
