Chapter 1331: A Heart-to-Heart Between Mother and Daughter
Ahmad had been in a deep sleep all night.
"He's fine now; go home and rest," Sienna said softly, bending over to tuck Ahmad in without looking back.
Callie didn’t move. She clutched the hem of her shirt tightly, her fingertips pressing hard. “I’ll stay. I wouldn’t feel at ease going back.”
Sienna straightened up and glanced at her briefly but said nothing more.
The hospital room was spacious, with a separate area and a sofa beside the bed.
Sienna asked the nurse to bring an extra blanket, spreading it on the sofa. Callie stepped forward quickly and helped arrange the blanket. “What happened today was partly my fault. I’ll sleep out here. You should go inside and rest properly.”
Standing behind her, Sienna watched as Callie worked efficiently, a strange feeling stirring within her.
“Let’s stay together,” Sienna said quietly.
