Lena used to always wait for Micah on the couch. She would run over with a smile to greet him the moment she heard him come through the door. However, the house was silent now, and the lights weren't even turned on. A wave of dread washed over Micah. He quickly set the cake aside and turned on all the lights as he searched through every room for any sign of Lena. "Baby, where are you? Don't scare me. I know I was wrong today.
