Chapter 1113: The Intruder
Tina glanced back briefly before she and Jared ventured deeper into the forest. As Christina had warned, the forest was teeming with wild wolves and boars. The mere scent of the place confirmed it, making it no surprise that progress here would be nearly impossible for most.
They had barely taken a few steps when eerie green lights flickered to life in the bushes ahead. Tina’s face remained expressionless as more lights appeared, one by one. Without waiting for the creatures to make their move, she scattered a handful of powder into the foliage.
Moments later, the glowing eyes began to flicker erratically before the forest fell silent, punctuated only by the sound of heavy bodies collapsing to the ground.
“Pathetic,” Tina scoffed, her voice cold. Creatures of such limited strength couldn’t possibly pose a threat to her.
But just as she and Jared turned to continue forward, the fallen wolves suddenly rose again. Their green eyes now burned deeper, more unsettling than before
