Chapter 2347
Deep in the Starry Sky Battlespace, two streaks of light streaked across the sky like a comet, surrounded by countless shimmering stars.
More than half an hour had passed since Severin and Callie set off from the battlefield. During that time frame, they flew at full speed and covered a distance of several thousand miles. At long last, a bright planet gradually appeared not too far away.
Severin gazed at the twinkling star before him and took out the treasure map to examine it carefully. After a few seconds, he joyfully informed Callie, "This should be the place marked on the treasure map."
Callie winced a little when she heard that, despite initially brimming with. Though the treasure map was in Severin's possession, their cooperation required them to share the rewards reaped.
Staying alive was far more important than obtaining the Lumigold, and the Burkes were hot on their heels in pursuit of them. If Callie were alone, obtaining the Lumigold marked on the treasure map might have cost her life and her fortune, as the Burkes had relentlessly pursued her for the simple fact that they were in search of Lumigold too.
Despite having to share it with Severin, their cooperation could offer up other opportunities, perhaps even a share in the Lumigold. Though she was not entirely satisfied with the situation, Callie accepted that things had to go that way. Observing the hints of agony on Callie's face, Severin smiled and urged, "Let's go. We need to seize this opportunity before the Burkes react."
The Burkes were relentless in their pursuit and would not give up that easily. It thus became a priority to secure the treasure before their pursuers arrived. Severin might have combat prowess that was formidable enough to kill a level five paragon, but he would much prefer to avoid any unnecessary trouble. He had already killed Halbert who came from the Yellow Ghost Tribe, and he had also offended the Menzies and the Burkes.
Aware of his limitations against level seven paragons and divine heirs, Severin did not want to provoke any further conflict. In the depths of the Starry Sky Battlespace, encounters with the prodigies of major forces would only continue to increase sharp. Should they unite against him, then Severin would have no choice but to flee for his life.
Callie accepted the urgency of the situation and nodded in agreement with Severin. The two of them landed on the planet, and Severin immediately released his divine senses to scan the planet's entire surface. Adorned with lush greenery and shrubs, the planet was small enough that Severin searched across the surface with little effort.
A hidden restriction in a canyon of a large mountain caught Severin's attention. The fluctuations emitting from it were so weak that those who did not pay close attention would have missed it entirely. Despite its discreet location, Severin's powerful divine senses quickly pinpointed the weak spiritual energy fluctuations emitted by the hidden formation.
Overjoyed by the discovery, Severin signaled to Callie come with him. Together, they soared into the air and headed straight for the concealed restriction.
