Hearing Claire speak, Ethan snapped back to reality and walked over to the couch to sit down.
But the moment he sat, he frowned. "Stiff... why is the sofa this uncomfortable?" That was his first reaction, and he instantly felt the urge to do something about it.
He took a sip of tea, letting the taste linger. Since Lily passed away, he hadn't touched floral tea again.
