"You… Oh my God, this is outrageous," Vivian cried out. "I've raised you tirelessly, yet you're treating me like this because of an adopted child.
"I get it now. Ever since your dad passed away, you no longer care about me. You think I'm a burden, don't you? Since you hate me so much, I'll just leave!"
Choking back sobs, she got up and prepared to leave, but Sophie and Emerson quickly stopped her.
Emerson looked at Ian disapprovingly. "Ian, look at how upset you've made Mom. Hurry up and apologize right now!"
